Servicedesk Employee

Do you want to be in touch with customers and really make a difference? Do you think it is important that our customers can rely on you, that they can do their work safely and do you want to help figure out how they can use their IT systems more sustainably?

We are looking for an experienced Service Desk Employee IT for 40 hours a week.

What will you do?

You are the first contact for our customers when they call the service desk. You will provide first- and possibly second-line support to these users. You register all calls in our Autotask registration system and categorise and classify them according to protocol in terms of importance. You systematically analyse incidents and malfunctions as part of incident management and resolve them independently whenever possible. You communicate with customers about impending changes, maintenance, etc.

What do you bring?

You have a completed IT education at at least MBO level 4 and are in possession of Microsoft certificates. You have 2-3 years’ work experience and have broad knowledge of and experience with IT infrastructures in the area of Microsoft 365, thin clients, PCs, printers and computer networks. You have knowledge of ITIL, especially Incident Management is an advantage. You are customer-oriented, have excellent communication skills – both in Dutch and English – and are solution-oriented. Perseverance is one of your qualities, as well as stress-resistance, working accurately and accurately.

We maintain IT and workstations at SME companies mainly in Schiedam and the surrounding area. Our customer base is diverse, so no two working days are the same. One day you will help a childcare centre with a malfunction, the next day you will help think about how a carrier of sea containers can transfer its files to the cloud as efficiently as possible.
